Project Title: “Enhancing Institutional Response to Corruption in northern Kosovo”

Thematic priority area: Anti-corruption

Geographical coverage: Northern Kosovo (municipalities of North Mitrovica, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and Leposavic)

Project objective:

Overall objective of the project is to reduce corruption in northern Kosovo, through strengthening institutional awareness and knowledge on corruption, specifically on available legal mechanisms against corruption.

Targeted beneficiaries: Local self-governments in northern Kosovo; Citizens; Civil society; Media.

  1. Baseline research
  2. Tailored trainings
  3. Public Town-Hall meetings
  4. Public Conferences
  5. Coordination Mechanism
  6. Working visits
  7. Public/Media campaign

Project results:

  1. Public perception on corruption in northern Kosovo is measured
  2. Representatives of local self-governments in northern Kosovo are empowered to combat corruption at local level.
  3. Public awareness and knowledge on corruption and anti-corruption mechanism is raised through public outreach campaign.

This grant is supported by the ʻCivil Society programme for Albania and Kosovo’ financed by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and managed by Kosovar Civil Society Foundation (KCSF) in partnership with Partners Albania for Change and Development (PA).
