The project aims to support reconciliation in Kosovo by raising awareness of missing persons from all communities, identifying citizens' attitudes towards missing persons and reconciliation in Kosovo, preserving the culture of remembrance of missing persons, and involving the whole community, civil society, and local governments as a step towards reconciliation.

The project includes the following activities:

  • Focus groups: Five focus groups with representatives of civil society, the media, academia, and two mixed groups on how to reduce the politicization of missing person issues;
  • Media appearances: Two media appearances - presentation of the conclusions of the focus groups and on the topic of dealing with the past, which will be discussed by experts and activists;
  • Op-Ed Writing Competition: The topic will be missing persons from Kosovo and reconciliation;
  • Closing conference: Presentation of project results.

Realization of the project started on 1 of March 2022 and will be implemented by 14 of June 2022.
