The conference will present a comprehensive analysis of constitutional and legal provisions for the protection of non-majority communities in Kosovo. It will also include the results of a qualitative study focusing on the reasons why young people from the Kosovo Serb community show limited interest in employment within Kosovo institutions.

The goal of the conference is to identify key challenges and provide recommendations for improving institutional representation and employment of members of the Serbian community, through an open discussion with representatives of institutions, civil society, and international organizations. It also aims to contribute to better implementation of the existing legal frameworks that guarantee the rights of non-majority communities in Kosovo.

Panelists:
• Emilija Redžepi,
Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo for Minority Affairs and Human Rights
• Naim Qelaj, Ombudsperson – Ombudsperson Institution of Kosovo
• Nenad Rašić, Minister for Communities and Returns
• Habit Hajredini, Director of the Office for Good Governance
• Ognjen Gogić, Researcher
Moderator: Aleksandar Rapajić, ACDC

The discussion will take place on June 24, 2025, at the premises of Hotel Sirius in Pristina, starting at 11:00. Interpretation will be provided in Serbian, English, and Albanian.
