Successfully completed the third cycle of ACDC youth camps
From 17 to 19 October 2025, the NGO ACDC organized the second camp of the third series of youth camps at Brezovica. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain and autumn landscapes, young people from diverse communities gathered to learn, connect, and explore the power of language and dialogue in building mutual understanding.
During the camp, participants took part in creative and collaborative activities, exploring how language and culture can bring people closer together. They shared stories, traditions, and experiences from their communities, fostering dialogue, mutual understanding, and a sense of connection. Through a series of creative tasks, interactive games, and joint projects, participants created bilingual posters and artworks symbolizing shared values and messages of solidarity.
The camp demonstrated that language and culture are key tools for building a more connected and tolerant society, where young people develop the ability to understand and appreciate different perspectives, build trust, and become drivers of positive change in their communities.
This program is part of the project “Youth Empowered through Inclusive Schools and Societies (YESS)”, funded by the UN Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund and implemented by UNICEF and IOM Kosovo.
