On October 21 and 23, 2025, NGO ACDC organized two informative sessions for police officers from the North region and Pristina, focusing on distinguishing hate speech from freedom of expression.
The sessions were led by Habit Hajredini, Director of the Office for Good Governance, who discussed with participants the ways to identify and respond to hate speech and discriminatory language in the public sphere. Special emphasis was placed on the role of the police in protecting human dignity, rights, and the safety of all citizens.
The aim of these sessions was to empower police officers to recognize and prevent hate speech, respond appropriately in cases of discrimination, and strike a balance between freedom of expression and the protection of fundamental rights.
The activities were carried out within the framework of the project “Promoting Trust Through Human Rights”, implemented by NGO ACDC with the support of UNMIK.
