Active Citizenship and Youth

ACDC encourages citizens, particularly young people, to actively participate in public life, launch initiatives and influence decisions that shape their communities.

We place particular emphasis on creating opportunities for learning, developing practical skills and encouraging the active participation of young people. We support them in identifying needs and challenges in their communities, developing their own ideas and initiatives, and gaining experience through their practical implementation.

Through civic education and activism programmes, training, youth camps, volunteering, mentoring and support for local initiatives, ACDC encourages young people and citizens to take a more active role in their communities. We particularly support cooperation among young people from different communities and their engagement with civil society and institutions, helping to make their needs, ideas and proposals more visible in the public sphere and decision-making processes.
