Justice@Work – Promoting Labor Rights in northern Kosovo

This project promotes labor rights awareness and access to justice in northern Kosovo. Through education, legal aid, dialogue, and media outreach, it empowers youth and informal workers to understand, claim, and advocate for their rights, while strengthening civic engagement and institutional accountability.

Project Objectives

  • Raise awareness of labor rights through participatory education and outreach.

  • Provide legal aid and support for reporting and addressing violations.

  • Facilitate dialogue and cooperation between communities, CSOs, and institutions.

Key Activities

  • School of Labor Rights: Eight interactive sessions for youth on contracts, fair wages, workplace safety, and reporting mechanisms.

  • Community Legal Aid: Weekly consultations with a legal advisor providing free support, complaint preparation, and institutional referrals.

  • Awareness Campaign:

    • Bilingual “Did You Know?” social media series.

    • Bilingual Guidebook on Labor Rights.

  • Public Dialogue Event: Final event with civil society, institutions, and communities to present challenges and recommendations.
