Promoting Community Engagement, Public Safety, and Women Empowerment for a Resilient Security Sector in Kosovo



The project aims to strengthen trust, transparency, and accountability within the security sector in Kosovo by improving cooperation between communities and law enforcement institutions, while also promoting women’s participation and leadership in security institutions.

Main Activities

  • Establishment of a Regional Community Center for Public Safety in Mitrovica

  • Multi-ethnic monitoring initiatives and specialized trainings

  • Monitoring of police work and reporting on public safety issues

  • Awareness raising campaigns and public discussions

  • Support for women in security institutions and leadership development

  • Advocacy for gender-sensitive policies and inclusive security practices

  • Citizens of Kosovo, especially in the Mitrovica region
