Project Overview
“Green Neighbors” unites Albanian and Serbian youth around shared environmental goals to strengthen coexistence and civic responsibility in Mitrovica. Through joint clean-up actions, creative campaigns, and the creation of shared Green Corners, the project transforms divided communities into cooperative and sustainable ones.
At least 60 youth (15–29 years old)—with 50% young women—will engage in practical, inclusive actions that combine ecology, art, and dialogue.
Key Objectives
Build trust between Albanian and Serbian youth through environmental cooperation.
Raise awareness via a trilingual campaign (Albanian, Serbian, English) reaching 10,000+ people.
Empower youth, especially girls, through leadership and digital communication roles.
Transform two neglected public spaces into symbolic “Green Corners” representing unity.
Foster collaboration between CSOs and local institutions for long-term cooperation.
